This is Angelo's car, pretty much "as found" early 2011. "Just found this Lenham GT, based on an original Dutch registered Sprite mk1. It's a never finished, original car, the owner told me.
It's completely rustfree and complete, except for the engine. Next week i will get it home and i will send an update, if you are interested. It looks like a fun project for us , and maybe we'll keep this one
ourselves."
Angelo recently sent another e-mail. In it he says "i just need an engine and gearbox and some small parts. We are moving our workshop, it will be ready next month (will start working on it more often)
I have to say the car is very popular with all our customers (and my kids love it)!!
These pictures are more recent (the car is outside on its own wheels for the first time since 1976.)"
4th July 2011 and Angelo writes: "Just bought an engine and a set of nice old cosmic wheels for the car. Now I only need a gearbox for the car and its basically complete."
